Benjamin Heller is an associate at Zweiback, Fiset & Zalduendo. Benjamin’s practice includes civil litigation and white-collar criminal defense in both federal and state courts.
Benjamin has a rich and diverse litigation background representing clients in complex commercial matters, real estate disputes, Title IX proceedings, entertainment and intellectual property disputes, white collar criminal defense and government investigations, Qui Tam whistleblower actions, class actions and appeals. Benjamin’s clients have included Fortune 500 companies, mid-to-small sized companies, religious organizations, boards of directors, homeowner’s associations, C-suite executives, lawyers, university administrators and executives, and other individuals. Benjamin’s experience allows him to employ a dynamic and creative approach to quickly analyze new cases and develop strategies that align with his clients’ goals. He has been recognized by his peers four years running as a Super Lawyer, Rising Star.
Prior to joining Zweiback, Fiset & Zalduendo, Benjamin worked as an associate at two respected boutique firms in California and Arizona. Benjamin received his J.D. from the University of Arizona James E. Rodgers College of Law, where he served as a managing editor on the Journal of Environmental Law and Policy and as a legal research representative for Bloomberg Law. Additionally, while attending the University of Arizona, Benjamin externed for the Hon. Charles Pyle, U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. Prior to attending law school, Benjamin received his B.A. in Government from the College of William and Mary.

- Serve as outside counsel for Fortune 500 company in real estate and employment matters.
- Represented high-level administrators at USC and Stanford in Title IX investigations.
- Represent successful Southern California real estate developer in litigation and prelitigation matters.
- Represent and advise production company in intellectual property and business disputes.
- Represent a municipal contractor in felony allegations of soliciting a bribe brought by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.
- Represented religious organization and board of directors in derivative action involving election legitimacy and breach of fiduciary duty claims.
- Represented victim of police brutality in 1983 Action against the City of Tucson, including oral argument before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
- Represented distinguished Los Angeles marketing agency in commercial lease and guaranty dispute.
- Represented a California attorney charged with making false statements to authorities connected to an opioid trafficking scheme.
