Michael Zweiback, a former federal prosecutor and a co-founder of ZFZ LLP in Los Angeles, commented on the OC County Board of Supervisors’ request that the U.S. DOJ review the plea deal made with former OC Board Supervisor Andrew Do. “Plea agreements are contracts, and the fact of the matter is that they have to live by the deal that they struck. I’ve represented a lot of politicians. This is not unusual that there are opponents of the individual who was a former elected official…ultimately, the deal that was struck with the U.S. Attorney’s Office is what they’re going to have to abide by.”
