Managing Partner, Rachel Fiset hosted and presented an ethics CLE on Oct 7, 2021 as part of the 2021 virtual National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) Annual Meeting. The conference brings together a diverse and highly-regarded group of attorneys and in-house counsel to discuss major issues facing the legal world today. The ethics CLE panel included Willenken LLP Managing Partner Paul Loh and two highly-seasoned in-house counsel, Beatriz Jaramillo, Senior Counsel at Humana, and Lexer Quamie Mayers, Assistant General Counsel at Exelon. The panel presented several common scenarios in-house counsel face, from employment issues and the COVID-19 vaccination to conflict issues in internal investigations. The presentation provided an opportunity to explore the relevant standards of conduct in a fun, collaborative, and non-threatening environment.
